Secrets of the Daintree 26/27

10 hours

Discover the hidden treasures of Daintree National Park, including a guided rainforest walk, a refreshing swim in a rainforest river, and a wildlife cruise on the Daintree River.

Description

Our adventure starts as we cross the Daintree River via cable ferry into the Cape Tribulation section of Daintree National Park.

Our first stop at Alexandra Range Lookout offers breathtaking views over the Coral Sea. As we continue through the rainforest, watch for elusive wildlife like Cassowaries, Forest Dragons, and Buff Breasted Paradise Kingfishers.

Next, at Cooper Creek Wilderness, enjoy a guided 2-hour walk through a secluded area, featuring the stunning Fan Palm Gallery, a treasure trove of ancient secrets.

Following our exploration, relax with lunch in this tranquil setting and take a refreshing swim in a safe rainforest river, or simply enjoy the peaceful environment.

Post-lunch, we'll treat ourselves to locally sourced ice cream, capturing the region's rich flavors, before concluding our day with a one-hour wildlife cruise on the Daintree River. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as Saltwater Crocodiles, rainforest frogs, birds, and flying fruit bats.
