Getting there is part of the adventure: drive 45 minutes south from Hobart to Kettering, catch the vehicular ferry across to Bruny Island in 20 minutes, then cruise down to Adventure Bay in another 40 minutes. Cruise times are 10am, 11am, and 1:30pm, with specific ferry connections advised for each departure.
